Recently I discovered a disturbing trend: every time I make plans to go to the data centre, it will definitely RAIN.
And rain heavily.
Like now.
For those lucky souls who have never and who will never step into a data centre, it is an enclosed area where cold air blows from the top, from the ground, from everywhere, to prevent the numerous servers residing there from overheating. Even on ultra hot days, it is freezing inside. Add cold external weather to the equation, and it becomes unbearably cold.
And also, freezing fingers + electronic equipment = major Ouch! Try touching electronic equipment with very cold hands. You might just get what I mean.
