Does it really exist in real life? Or is it just that, a fairy tale?
Marriage is supposed to be built on the foundation of love. When does the tedium and the frustration of daily life chip away at the foundation until it teeters on the edge of collapse? All it takes is a slight temptation from outside and the whole thing collapses. Why? Why are there people who would throw away a perfect family that they've built for years, for someone else? Boredom? Excitement of a new relationship?
Do the wedding vows mean nothing anymore? I really wonder if there is a point in getting married anymore. So many examples of broken marriages, extramarital affairs. So many of them happen at work. Can you resist the temptations at the work place? Can you trust your spouse to resist the temptations at his / her work place? Can you trust his / her colleagues? When does camaraderie between colleagues become something more? Can it be prevented?
So many questions. No answers available.
PS. Merely musing after hearing some stuff from friends recently.
