Wedding bells are ringing
My wedding has been postponed for around 4 months.
One reason is that we were having some trouble getting a venue for our dinner on the first chosen date of 30 December 2006. Apparantly, it's a auspicious date. Soooo...everyone and their uncle wants to hold a wedding dinner on that date.
Another reason is that my braces are going to take longer than expected. I have really stubborn front teeth which are giving my dentist a lot of trouble. First, one of them refused to turn and become straight. Then now they are not on the same row, so my dentist is struggling with my unruly teeth.
Well, I do not mind that much. Postponing gives me a little more preparation time. Especially on the banquet side.
I have decided on a bridal shop. The Wedding Present! I like the shop, I like the wedding consultant, and I also like their gowns. So I am a happy little bear now. Now is the time to research on types of wedding and evening gowns I like and when it's time for designing my gown, I will have an idea of what I want. This is so exciting!
yes!!! so exciting!!
oh my, i feel like i'm the one getting married instead.. hahaha

Thanks all~
The ceremony prob in april/may. Waiting for mother in law to pick a date. Somehow in the mind of elders, I'm not officially their daughter in law until I serve them tea. LOL

I think your parents-in-law-to-be still ok ... not that traditional.
My colleague had to kneel down and serve her parents-in-law tea 3 days in a row after their traditional ceremony, before she was 'officially' considered a member of the family.
She had to do something traditional on the first day she "jing men" too ... but I forgot what :P Have to go ask again. Haha ...
