    World Cup Fever
    It's the soccer season now!

Me, who has never watched the English Premier League, Italian Serie A etc., is caught up in the fever.
The World Cup only happens once in four years, why not join in the fun?

I am not watching soccer for the eye candy (Although there are some seriously yummy eye candy out there), I am not watching it because I have just dumped my life savings to bet whether some team will win (I'd rather spend it on a cute clothes/accessories/shoes) and I am not watching it because I have no choice as The Chosen One is glued to the television set (I think I watch it more than him sometimes).

I'm watching it because it's a soap opera out there!
The excitement factor is high! It's more interesting than any other programs on the television now!

And I just did something I have never done before; hang out with friends at Clarke Quay Central Square watching the match between Germany and Argentina on big screen TV.
The tables were full of people, people were standing around, the empty space before the big screen TV was seated to maximum capacity.
And this is the first time I have seen loyal fans waving the German Flag and singing the German Club cheer every 10 minutes.
    The atmosphere was...addictive.
It amplified the excitement of the match, making people shout, scream, cheer and celebrate more than usual.

Imagine, what the atmosphere and mood of fans in the stadiums in Germany will be.
I don't think my imagination can compare to the real thing at all.

    Enjoyed a lot! » »
