The cat's out of the bag
Strange things has been happening in the office.

My papers dislodged, my speakers moved, my ornaments scattered.

Colleagues' tables disturbed. Papers strewn on the floor, a missing fluffy pen.

We were pondering about it for weeks.

    There were suspects.
First, we thought it's someone in the office using our tables.
Later, we thought it may be a cat.
    But we weren't sure.

A couple of mornings ago, we had definite proof on the perpetrator.

As usual, when I walked into the office, I discovered my Eeyore speaker moved from it's original position, again.
When I walked to say good morning to my colleague, she mentioned that my hair band, which I had left on the table the last evening, was on the floor, and the speaker on my desk phone was on.
Puzzled, she placed my hair band on the table again and switched off the speaker, which was going Tut! Tut! Tut! non stop.

I took a closer look at another colleague's desk and her cloth, which she used to cover her keyboard, was moved also.

My manager appeared and I mentioned about my items being moved again.

She said she knew what is it.

    "It's a cat."
"It left it's footprints on my table."

Being the curious person that I was, I immediately popped over to her table and looked at the footprints.
The cat had stepped into left over coffee and left it's little paw marks all over my manager's table.
Not only that, it walked over papers and left coffee paw prints all over them as well.

When did we start keeping cats in the office?
