The season of giving
People that know me will know that this is the time of the year that I lug 2-3 paperbags full of gifts to the office and later lug 2-3 paperbags full of gifts back home. For some weird reason, my company has the practise of exchanging gifts with almost everybody. I've calculated, I need to prepare close to 50 gifts this year.
This year I'm preparing little goodie bags. Most will receive a little package of biscuits and sweets while those in my department will receive a much bigger package filled with lipbalms and bath products.
The only snag I'm encountering this year is that one of the shipments that I have ordered is taking its own sweet time to arrive at my doorstep. It's been 2 weeks since it has shipped and it is Not Here Yet. Must be the Christmas Season that is making the postal service wonky.
By the weekend next week, I must finish wrapping everything so that's limit I can wait. Hopefully it arrives soon if not I will be knee deep in lip balms if it arrives after Christmas.
