    Strawberries Galore!
Regarding my recent obsession with nail art, it's getting from bad to worse.
So much so that I am asking friends whether I can experiment on their nails.
Hope my OPI loot arrives soon then I will have more colours to experiment with. :D

    I just spent...I think 2 hours...painting my fingernails.
Now, I have 10 little strawberries on my digits!
    It's not easy.
Want me to list the steps?
Well, I'm listing them whether you wanna read it or not.

First is to paint on the base coat. It prevents staining of nails...I think. Not sure if it works.

Then I painted all of them red.
It was the first time I had red fingernails and seriously, I was a bit freaked out.
Somehow, red fingernails suddenly made me feel waaaaay older.

Next, I opened 2 tubes of paint.
    Blue + yellow = green
    *flashes back to art classes*
Painting green leaves on my nails was not a easy task.
I am a right hander and using my left hand to hold the brush and paint on the green leaves is no joke.
I think after I get tired of doing nail art I will be ambidextrous.

Then I used white paint to dot the red areas.

    Ta-Da!
    Strawberries!

Finally, use a top coat to seal it all.
You dun wanna have green and white paint running down the sink when you wash your hands do you?

    *Warning
Unless you are very patient or you have loads of time to spare (like me), do not try this at home.

    Pretty Nails
Been a little hooked on nail art recently.
But I am really clumsy trying to do anything to my nails.

Painting the left hand with my right hand is not kick. Painting the right hand with my left hand is a little more challenging.
Basically...my manicures look better on my left hand.

Mebbe I should stick to doing my toes. But it gets tiring bending over for long periods.

Tried a french manicure yesterday but the stupid sticker kept pulling the base nail colour off.

I think I'm better off spending some money at the manicure shop.

    Update:

I have successfully completed a french manicure on my hands.
But instead of natural looking nail colours, I opted for bink base with red tips.
I even attached a star to each of my thumbs! (But I think they will drop and disappear before the day has ended.)
It is looking a little rough, the tips are not exactly even....
But this is my first successful attempt!

The Husband is not liking this though.
He says I look like I have bleeding fingernails.
    Bah! Men!

    Stuck
    Is it time to leave?
Is it time to brave the world and get out of my comfort zone?
    Why do I hesitate?
    Because routine is so welcomed?

    Do I need new challenges?
But I do not want to leave people behind.
I like the place I am in. But it is no longer as fufilling.
I want to leave. But I'm tied by loyalty.

Should I give myself more time to think?

Things are moving. They have never stopped.
    But I still feel stuck.

    More responsibility coming.
    Do I want it?
Maybe I have already judged the rewards and found them wanting.

    Think...do not be rash....

    Wedding bells are ringing
My wedding has been postponed for around 4 months.

One reason is that we were having some trouble getting a venue for our dinner on the first chosen date of 30 December 2006.
    Apparantly, it's a auspicious date.
Soooo...everyone and their uncle wants to hold a wedding dinner on that date.

Another reason is that my braces are going to take longer than expected.
I have really stubborn front teeth which are giving my dentist a lot of trouble.
First, one of them refused to turn and become straight. Then now they are not on the same row, so my dentist is struggling with my unruly teeth.

Well, I do not mind that much. Postponing gives me a little more preparation time. Especially on the banquet side.

I have decided on a bridal shop.
    The Wedding Present!
I like the shop, I like the wedding consultant, and I also like their gowns.
So I am a happy little bear now.
Now is the time to research on types of wedding and evening gowns I like and when it's time for designing my gown, I will have an idea of what I want.
    This is so exciting!
