Making Brownies
I finally tested out my oven today and made a batch of brownies.
And the verdict is....
Super chocolatey, slightly chewy and too soft.
It fell apart as soon as I tried to pick it up.
Well...there's always next time.
Baby's finally back
we finally got our baby back on Thursday night.
Still upset over the crash but at least our baby's looking good as new now.
I drove to work today!
But since I am so cowardly, I made The Chosen One come with me to work.
Poor dear had to go hang around Jurong Point for 4 hours waiting for me to get off work.
After months of keeping away from Fie Japan, I broke my self-imposed ban today and got these two items.
And for these two items, I spent over one hundred.
Time to keep away from Fie Japan again.
Stupid Silvercab!!!
My poor baby, barely two weeks old got banged by a bloody silvercab last evening.
The Chosen One was supposed to pick me up at Vivo and minutes before he reached, the stupid taxi banged our car.
The Chosen One braked hard to avoid a car that suddenly poked it's head out of the right turn only lane and the stupid silvercab was following too closely and hit our poor baby hard.
The car rolled foward for quite a distance and in the process, got it's right side badly scratched by the car that poked it's head out.
When I reached our poor baby, I was so upset!
The boot was all smashed in....
As I was murmuring, "poor baby" while inspecting the car, the bloody silvercab driver still dare to say, "Very heartpain hor?"
I felt like bashing his face in lor!!!
I totally ignored him and refused to speak to him. If not I think I will give him a tongue lashing.
The taxi driver immediately say it's not his fault and it's the fault of the car that poked it's head out. Still say want The Chosen One to be his witness and he will be our witness all that crap.
TMD.
One thing for sure is that we are going to claim that stupid taxi driver's insurance for sure.
Now poor baby is in a workshop and we will probably get it back end of next week.
We have a replacement car now and it's this big, old Mazda Premacy.

Moving House
Finally we have moved into our new place.
Unfortunately, there's still a lot of boxes lying around and things waiting to be packed.
I had no computer for quite a few days because The Chosen One packed it a few days before our move and it was only set up on the day of the move itself.
Even them, he was fussing with the wires and what nots and there is always people in the house and only now I get to use it in relative privacy.
As I do not have a study, the dining area has been converted into a study and there are three computers sitting on the tables.
People kept commenting about setting up a LAN shop in my house.
