Randomness today
I have a love/hate relationship with the TV.
When I'm alone, I like to turn it on, but instead of watching it, I will usually be:
a) reading something
b) playing my DS
c) wandering off and end up in some part of the house where I can't watch the TV
The Chosen One, on the other hand, loves the TV.
At least from what I see.
Whenever we have to clear up the living room, he will somehow after a few moments, stand and stare fixedly at whatever program the TV is showing.
After a few incidents like these, I will usually turn the TV off whenever we have to do work in the living room.
For those people that has been in my house, they will notice that there is only one TV.
There are no computers and TVs in the bedrooms.
That's because the head of the family has decreed that NO TVS and COMPUTERS be allowed in the bedrooms.
Something about not encouraging anti-social behaviour.
Meanwhile, Minou really don't like The Chosen One.
Well, that's given ever since he:
a) closed her in the toilet
b) after she learned how to open the toilet door; put a basket over her, and a weight on top of the basket and closed her in the toilet
c) gave her a spanking after one of her naughty episodes
Now when she sees him, she will meow loudly and go hide in a corner.
On the other hand, she loves being brushed. Sit on the floor and tap her brush and she will run straight towards you, head butting the brush in a hint to brush her now.
Work is still crazy. From the beginning of this year, work was already at its peak. Add the peak period in the May-July period and I am getting floored. My backlog is horrible!
And somehow, I became the big sister in my department. Sometimes I can have a queue forming, all wanting to ask me questions.
I can do something for 1 hour and it usually takes me less than 15 minutes. So much interruptions and phonecalls!
My brother bought a console...XBox 360.
I haven't touched it yet because there is always someone watching the TV or playing on it.
And somehow, I lost a lot of interest in games recently. Must be too tired.
And I really really need to go on a shopping ban....
Me and my Makeup
As usual with my never do things by half measure, I went crazy and ordered too much mineral eye shadows.
Who knows one quarter teaspoon will have so much lor!
Some shadows I ordered full size some more lei.
I think those full size one use for one year also cannot finish.
Who wants to try can get from me. =_____=
I am very very in love with eye shadows now.
Especially those that just arrived in the mail today.
Used dry they will be like normal eye shadows. But when I "foil" it, I can use it like an eyeliner.
Or if in the mood for more drama eye colours, just foil the pigments and they will be more intense.
Basically, foiling the pigments means to use a wet brush instead of a dry one. Some use another product called a sealant instead of water as sealant will lock the colours more properly than water.
I do not have a sealant but I find water works.
I'm serious lei. Who wants to try come my house get from me ok.
As long as you bring little containers or tiny ziploc bags to keep them in.

We just got our photoshoot pictures today!
Unfortunately, we did not managed to get our album today because one of the pages wasn't glued properly. Eric Khor will be doing that page and send it to us when it is done.
But we do have our pictures in soft copy and also our potrait.
And also...The Chosen One and I have decided that we will not show out pictures to anyone or even hang the potrait up until it is nearer to our wedding date.
If not like not special lor.
And today, I finally managed to treat my driving instructor to dinner, almost 6 months after my pass date.
Well, I was waiting for my friend who also had the same instructor to pass so both of us can have dinner with him together. And she finally passed after 3 tries.
And I heard something funny today!!!
Manager : "So what is this 3 cubic feet?"
Trainee : "Medium box."
Manager : "Medium? Ermm...OK..." (Psst, Medium box is 5 cubic feet in my industry)
Manager : "Then what is this 5 cubic feet?"
Trainee : "Small box."
Manager : "...."
Sometimes I think I meet the weirdest people in my company.

I wanted a Hello Kitty magazine rack but they have no new stock!
I think I better stop before The Chosen One kills me.
