Party lifestyle
My customary, scheduled for 17th November, is finally over.
Of course a lot of sweat and tears went into this event. Basically The Chosen One's sweat and my tears. He left so much things undone and still went out on a Bachelor's night 2 days before our wedding!
And I must also thank all the sisters and brothers for all their help that day. Without them, the event would probably turn into a disaster. Now when I think back, all I can say is that the day went by seamlessly. Poor Erwin is the main coordinator and got stuck with all the stress. But everyone could see he was the best person for the role. ;)
Of course The Chosen One got drunk after our dinner. Of course everyone got high but luckily no one got wasted. The aftermath in our hotel suite was...ermmm...see for yourself in Qiaoyun's blog.
Last night, the gang decided to come over to our place to play Guitar Hero III. It's a fun game! But what we didn't expect was a gift of a PS3 from them...Guys...you shouldn't have.... We really appreciate your gesture. :)
Rena cooked beehoon (nice!), Edwin and Yi Fong cooked Curry Chicken and Potato Salad (very good too!), Qiaoyun brought Krispy Kreme donuts and BBQ chicken wings and Paul was stuck with the duty of buying ice. And of course, there was alcohol.
The earliest came at 530 pm and he left at 11+ am this morning.
Anyway, we played in versus mode with the loser having to drink a cup of vodka mix. And we finished a bottle of vodka (to be precise, 1/3 raspberry vodka and 2/3 blackcurrant vodka) this way. So everyone got high and no one could drive after that.
Resulting in a living room full of sleeping guitar heroes and heroines.
I think we have another gathering next weekend. OMG...it's going to be party every weekend at this rate.
Red Red Red!
I suppose cuteness also have to have a limit right?

I can't seem to find it yet....
Snippets
Little things that struck me on my trip.
* Me, the lover of western food, got sick of burgers and fried chicken. * The full size SUV we rented is HUGE. 7 Seater and with boot space that can fit all our luggages (8 of them). * Service in Las Vegas is so good that The Chosen One felt stressful about it. * Parents in law can really shop. Especially in Outlets. * Parents in law reaction to watching Cirque du Soleil is: Why spend so much money on a circus? * Parents in law reaction after watching Cirque du Soleil is: Well worth the money. Very good! Why aren't we in the most expensive seat section? * In N Out burgers are the best! * One of the most famous clubs in Las Vegas, Tao, was in The Venetian. Everynight, there's a queue. * Driving from Las Vegas to San Francisco is no joke. * I wish to bring the whole of Sephora home. * How come I can't order Sephora online? Stupid...don't accept International Credit Cards. * I love the crabs at Fisherman's Wharf. * Pier 39 in Fisherman's Wharf has been taken over by sealions. No joke. * Pacific Heights in San Francisco is the second most expensive property area in the World. A 3 bedroom house for 7.3 million...US.... * Some carpark space in San Francisco tried to charge us USD 45.00 for parking. Daylight robbery. * Sitting in the car driving in San Francisco is like sitting in a Roller Coaster. A slower one. * So hot in the afternoon and freezing cold at night. * Godzilla has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. So does Mickey Mouse.
