Pink City Update
I have with me my really pink mouse. Razer Proclick! All thanks to Unker Kel that I can get my mouse! Weee!
The Chosen One got it to sync with my Pink Vaio and now it's a matched pair! Unfortunately, my Vaio does not have a pink cover. I got the white one from Soy instead. We were at the retailer and both The Chosen One and I agree that getting a pink cover will result in pink overload.
So now I have a pink DS Lite, a pink laptop and a pink mouse!
But for some weird reason, I don't have much pink clothes. My colour of choice recently is grey, red and black. Hmmm....
Speaking of colours, I hate tests where they ask you to choose your favourite colour because I always like all the colours they have listed!
Errmm, back to pink city. I have just changed my quilt cover to pink too!
The Chosen One must be happy that I did not insist on a pink room.
We ran out of....
I quite like the food of a certain Japanese Fast Food place except that I encountered a couple of rather silly incidents at their outlets lately.
Incident One The Chosen One and I decided to have dinner their. We got our seats rather quickly and it's a little odd, considering that it's dinner time and they have very little tables so that we can't usually waltz in and there are empty seats. It's all made clear soon when The Chosen One went to order and came back telling me that they have ran out of bread. It's a burger place and they ran out of bread...wow.... And at dinner time...wow....
Incident Two Another day, we decided to have lunch at a different outlet. The Chosen One ordered away and this time, they didn't run out of bread. They ran out of change instead. So The Chosen One got a receipt with some words scribbled on which said that he could get his change back later when they have change. This is an outlet at the heart of the shopping district and they managed to run out of change. And it's not for just a few cents. We are talking about tens of dollars here.
Since we are on the topic of food, I had dinner at Dempsey Hill last night. We chose a place where the ambiance was good but it was right next to the "forest". The food was OK...but the company was good. Until at one point Ms QY jumped from her seat and ran away. Since I was opposite her, I wondered what's wrong like did I sprout a gigantic pimple suddenly and that's when I noticed a cockroach-like insect on the Goonfather's napkin. Back went my seat when The Chosen One was asking where's the cockroach. Goonfather saw it and made to cover the insect with the other end of his napkin when The Chosen One threw his napkin over it. Goonfather, not wanting to lose out, threw his end over it as well. Then The Chosen One went "BAM!" by hammering once on the spot where the cockroach was last seen. And the Goonfather, again not wanting to miss out, went "BAM BAM BAM BAM!' by slapping his hands over the napkins a lot of times.
If the cockroach was still alive, maybe it should go by 4D or Toto.
After that scene, we had the attention of all the tables and servers around us. Everyone was still staring at that pile of napkins when a server whisked it away.
Perhaps the people arounf us thought we were having a fight?
Download woes
I've been trying to download this game called Fiesta since yesterday. For some weird reason, my connection is just so slow that the estimated time is between 8 hours to 11 hours. I am kidding...not. Erwin took only 1 hour to download lor!
At first, The Chosen One says it's because I'm downloading via wireless and wireless is always slower. So off I flounced to the desktop and tried downloading from there. Hmm...yup, it's faster. Estimated downloading time is between 7 hours to 9 hours.
So now the desktop is merrily downloading while I'm using the laptop to do my other stuff, like blogging.
Fiesta, according to Erwin, is a cross between WoW and Maple Story. WoW because of the 3D environment and Maple because of all the virtual items you can buy for the avatar. I think it may be a bad idea for me to try this game. I did spend money on Maple Story....
And furthermore, where am I going to find the time to play it? I'm at the last stages of Zelda and I still have not started on Chocobo Tales and there's also Final Fantasy XII and there's a lot more games to play on my NDS. And and and Folklore and and and Guitar Heroes and and and I'm waiting for Dynasty Warriors and Final Fantasy XIII....
At this rate, I need to clone myself just to play games.
